Procrastinating yet again...
Another teacher also hatched some chicks. She got 3 out of 15, but one of them was born lame, with legs that did not function properly but would spread out on either side of it, hence rendering the poor chick unable to walk very much. It would just try to hop around, but was also pretty weak and would tire quickly. And the other chicks would peck at the lame legs and just walk all over the poor chick. :( That one died last night. I was a bit sad, but it was probably better off like that. My little guy is as strong as ever! And never ceases to cheep while he is in his box. He really craves attention, and I think he's bonded with me a little. As soon as I stand over his box, he stops cheeping so loudly, and just hops in my hand when I bend down and stretch it out towards him. He falls asleep if I cradle him in both my hands and follows my hands if I set him on my desk and am typing on the computer keyboard. He's pretty cute. :) Today he pulled a little stunt, though. We had left the class to practice for our circus. We were gone about an hour and half. When we returned to our classroom, we discovered that he had hopped out of the box somehow and was running rampant around the room! The kids started chasing him, and I had to calm them down lest they scare him silly. But when I bent down, he pretty much ran straight onto my hand. What an adventure for us!! hehehe
So, it's pretty late right now. But I am up cleaning my room. I finished the living room and am now working on my bedroom. Well, not RIGHT now. :P My landlord left a note on my door saying that some people were interested in the particular style of my apartment and so she would be bringing them by to see the layout tomorrow afternoon (while my roommate and I are both at work). I wish she'd given us more notice, for one! For two...I think it's a little strange for strangers to walk around my home. I already feel violated in a way. I don't know what my landlord will feel it's okay to show or not. Will she lift up the curtain that serves as my closet door? I'm a pretty private person, so this is a bit unnerving for me. But what can I do? I am just renting and it's leasing season. Alas....
Well, since I DO need to finish cleaning soon and since I DO need to get at least some sleep (I haven't been sleeping much or very well the past few days), I will keep this post short. I really want to get in the habit of writing more frequently, but I've been so exhausted lately! But I have been enjoying getting to know new neighbors on Vox. Thanks guys! :) So, without further ado, farewell and good night, until next time!!! :)

And, I feel the same way about our apartment mgmt people coming into our place, too. It's weird thinking that unless I dead-blot lock the door, they could go in at any time they wanted to. Creepy. LOL, I can't WAIT until we move back to Houston and buy our OWN house!
I hope you're doing okay, hon :)
How exciting that you'll buy your own house! When are y'all moving back to Houston?
I'm good. I hope YOU'RE doing good also. :) God bless!
